Placenta Encapsulation
Placenta encapsulation can help ease the postpartum transition, both physically and emotionally, and we are so happy to be offering this service to families in the Knoxville area!
If you birth with us, we’ll take your placenta with us after your delivery and we’ll bring it back once it’s ready for you.
If you’re birthing somewhere else, you’ll just let us know when you have your baby so we can come pick up your placenta!
Placenta encapsulation is completed using the Traditional Chinese Method (which incudes steaming).
All placenta encapsulation clients receive a complimentary cord keepsake with their order. If desired, we can paint it gold or silver!
Pricing:
$250 for placenta encapsulation
$ 15 to add a placenta tincture
$ 20 to add a placenta salve
$ 25 to add placenta tallow
$ 15 to add a placenta print
Placenta Tincture
Our placenta tinctures are carefully prepared using your placenta and 80 proof vodka. Placenta tinctures can help balance hormones and provide emotional support.
**If you do not consume alcohol, please let us know and we will use vegetable glycerine in the tincture.
*Placenta tinctures can be used in the postpartum or saved to help with the hormonal transition that occurs in perimenopause.
Placenta Salve
Placenta salve is known for its healing and rejuvenating effects on the skin. Your placenta salve is created using your placenta, organic coconut oil, organic calendula oil, beeswax, and lavender essential oil.
Placenta Tallow
This balm is made with 100% pure beef tallow, your placenta, and vanilla essential oil.
Placenta Print
Your placenta print will be made on a 12×18 paper and can either be a blood print or made with plant-based food coloring.
You can choose to have your placenta print outlined in black (as shown in image above) or left in its original beauty!
